Lorna Murphy is a recent graduate of the Centre of Creative Arts and Media, GMIT in Galway city where she specialised in Fine Art Ceramics. Since graduating Murphy now works full time as a Ceramic Maker in Galway city. This year her ceramic work has been chosen for the Korean International Ceramic Biennale, she has exhibited nationally at the Botanical Gardens in Dublin for Sculpture in Context and locally in Galway City. Murphy was also awarded a Future Maker Materials Award in 2019 from the Design Craft Council of Ireland.
